This weeks Window Walk Gallery highlighted Artist of the Week is Carl Incerto!
Carl is an Italian from Brooklyn, New York who started at a very young age in Fashion Film Design in the 70’s.
He started mixing Art with Fashion in the 80’s and held court in the Beverly Hills and Laguna Art Shows with paintings selling in the $7-10,000 range.
Carl kept his fashion profile high working with many celebrities as well as hair fashion experts Vidal Sasson and Jose Eber.
He opened his own premier salon in Maui in 2007. It was known to be a healing and spiritual place that drew people from around the world.
Carl is now living in Palm Springs and concentrating on his artistic expression in between his travels. Most often large and very colorful his abstract designs hold both deeper meanings as well as the joy and fun that can be found in life.
When asked to show his art in a gallery that supports Mental Health Awareness he instantly agreed saying “it would make him happy to add an uplift of color and the design of happiness to the desert community.”
