The River is also home to the largest Supercharging Station in the Coachella Valley, shaded carports, and valet parking.

The River at Rancho Mirage opened to the public in October 2001 and is owned by Cheer Land The River, LP since 2014. The project consists of approximately 214,837 sq.ft. of retail space and 15,770 sq.ft of office space including over 70,000 sq.ft. of space for casual and fine dining, 37,000 sq.ft. of specialty retail space, and over 87,000 sq.ft. of entertainment. It is anchored by Cinemark Century Theatres with 15-screens and luxury leather recliners.
